• Maintain sales goals and selling standards.
• Serve customers, sell products, and meet customer needs.
• Explain special financing plans, sales events, delivery procedures, and warranties.
• Complete appropriate paperwork for all sales.
• Solid customer contact through letters, thank you notes, personal contact.
• Maintain assigned areas and assist in keeping showroom attractive and neat.

Requires
Sales experience is preferred but not required.
Must be familiar with furniture styles and products.
Excellent communication skills and motivation.
Basic computer literacy.

FURNITURE REPAIR TECHNICIAN
Repair and touch-up any furniture that is damaged or nicked in the warehouse.

• Inspect and touch-up furniture being loaded on trucks every morning; assist in loading furniture on trucks.
• Pull merchandise for delivery, sampling and customer pick up.
• Discuss repairs needed with Customer Service Representative
• Keep accurate records of all repairs for use in receiving credit from vendors.

Requires
Heavy lifting and moving of furniture throughout the warehouse and on delivery trucks.
Furniture repair or refinishing experience preferred.
Must be able to pass drug test and background check.

FURNITURE DELIVERY DRIVER
Drive, deliver, and set-up merchandise at customer’s homes.

• Responsible for delivery trucks and merchandise on the trucks.
• Removing old furniture when necessary. Complete all paperwork involved.
• Supervises work of Delivery Helper.
• May help with work orders as part of daily delivery routine.
• May help unpack and deliver sample merchandise to sales floor.
• May help unload freight trucks.
• Responsible for truck and to write daily truck maintenance reports.
• Backup warehouse duties when not on delivery.
• May inspect and touch-up merchandise prior to loading.
• Operate vehicle in safe and courteous manner.
• Excellent benefit package.

Requires
Chauffeurs license required.
Must be DOT qualified and keep licenses and other required documents current.
Must have and maintain a good driving record
Must be able to read maps and follow oral and written instructions.
Heavy lifting required up to 200 pounds.
May be required to carry heavy merchandise up or down stairs.
